Man, your in the nose bleed section of the desert. Haha! I had some nasty headaches recently too. Elevation never seemed to be the issue, but hydration and allergies seems to be my culprit. I'm currently at 141 feet in the low desert, and no altitude sickness here, though I share your headache symptom - time for caffein! High is 98 degrees with a low of 64.

Mold more of a S&B problem, but also in the air conditioned places some of us frequent. Boondockers and others in the outdoors may encounter the spores in dust that is stirred up.
