Some stuff on hold, others not

this virus/pandemic has totally waylaid my retirement plan...2020 was supposed to be my year to join the ranks of the nomads, at least during the northeast winters....but that’s on hold now, for the unforseeable future. what isn’t on hold is my camping companion. Cedar arrived a month ago and...

    my neck of the woods

this Dodge Ram commercial was filmed in the next town over from me where the tiny house builders are. Final scene is Windsor Lake, beautiful camping a few minutes from me... I don’t necessarily promote dodge, just wanted to share the scenery. Also like the message that women can take the lead in...

i am a little over a year out still, planning & saving for a 6-8 month journey each year with a home base. i have also read many posts here about buying a plot of land and parking rv as part time home base. i know there are various state and local regs to research as well.  my question: is...

    simple art, on the road

i do lots of different crafts, everything form sewing to painting, with sculpture and jewelry work thrown in. still in a sticks&bricks but on track for my retirement. i don't want to give up my creative outlet(s) so have been exploring crafts that take up a smaller footprint, storage-wise, and...

    Tav Camping

I almost slept in the car this past weekend while camping at the ocean on the Massachusetts coast. Had it all set-up in case I need to evacuate tent in middle of night. Torrential rains, high winds and mixed-in thunder storms. But tent held up amazingly! As did new canopy. Nary a leak anywhere...

Pardon if this has been posted before. I stumbled across this and thought it might be of service to others on this list. I am from the east coast so not likely to explore further. Quick review seems like they bundle other services too, but also was shocked that they charge ~150 bucks for the...
