It might get up to 80 degrees today where I am . But in tbis location there is usually a good breeze in the afternoon and evening so it is still very comfortable.  Foggy this morning, it will be gone by lunch time. No race cars lined up this morning waiting to get into the trackbut races are sceduled for today and monday but not as late as they ran last night.

Today is another workday for me as will be tomorrow. I did find a small rechageable vacuum cleaner at Walmart yesterday. It has enogh power to run for 20 minutes and enough suction to clean up all the little paper chads that happen when I cut kits. Plus it does ok on the crumbs, bits of grass and dirt on the floor. It recharges with USB and that is ideal for my solar power panel 12v in the trailer and the car charging outlets. Just enough, but not too much of a vacuum. small and light in weight and priced at $19.98. Small enogh that I can stash it in a drawer!

Hello - Happy Sunday! I have a new Booktube video out today (my September TBR - "to be read" list) ... watched 2 church services online today ... now am watching a discussion of Dostoyevski and his novel, Crime and Punishment (on YouTube) ... plan to read some books and probably will do some minor organization of the big mess that's in here due to my storage items and boxes transferred into this home from the van... which has more boxes in it still as well. That's my life. Continuing on.

Maki,
It is not at all surprising that you might feel anxious at times, since so many areas of your life are in transition at once!  (I sometimes feel anxious just transitioning from one kind of slacking off to another  .)  Having even just one little area that is "sacred", that feels or looks under control can do wonders.  Having a time that you set aside to turn off your inner planner and just say, "ahh" can help, too.

Those packing cubes are great, aren't they?  I have found them very helpful.  Likewise the little vac.  My van came with a small 12 volt job with a very long cord.  I giggled then, but it's great to have at the beach!  (A wisk broom and dustpan is handy, too.)

The "Daily Bread" Report:

Yesterday's small batch dinner rolls were absolutely saved by jam (thanks)!  They were like a cross between a biscuit and roll after emerging from the crock pot.  Tops were browned, I think because of the egg yolk brushed on top. Certainly edible, but not great.

Today, the sun failed yet again.  This time, I used this slow cooker recipe in my little crock pot:  https://hedgecombers.com/slow-cooker-bread-recipe/  Instead of browning the top under the broiler, I inverted the finished loaf in the crock pot and cooked it for 30 minutes longer.  This loaf was quite good!  It sliced up nicely and the texture was lovely!  (I might make room for that appliance on Van Island again.  I used to plug it into the inverter on an old style power pack and bake potatoes, charging the pack while driving.)

Since solar cookers function much like slow cookers, I think this was a good test for that, too.  If my pies are any indication, the bread loaf tops will brown under the sun.

Overall, I like heavier breads with lots of goodies (seed breads, etc.), but this feels like a good start.

This is what the bread looks like that my friend in WI made in her crockpot.

It’s 4:30 AM in Pennsylvania. What am I doing awake? I have a big day today, lots of work to do and now I can’t sleep. Later when I should be working I will be sleepy. Nothing seems to go as I planned it. But at least it seems to go. I hope you’re all doing better than I am and getting some sleep. God bless the nomads all of us.

The anxiety was a diect  result of too much caffine, it was chemically induced. I can tell the difference from one hour to the next when it happens.   You have jumped to conclusions about me having anxiety issues.

Don’t get anxiety over not having anxiety issues Maki2! Lol!!! I get drink mixes that sometimes have caffeine added that really mess with me.

If there was Covid 19 virus on the food I ate off my dishes then it would already be inside of me when I went to wash my dishes.

I noticed this morning that ther was more moisture in the air inside my trailer. It wrinled the surface of the pto sheet of a stack of cardstock kis I cut yesterday evening. The windoe glass was not fogged but the paper certainly absorbed  some moisture. Guess I had better not leave any paper goods out in the open overnight. Tonights my ladt night at this spot,  off tomorrow to the city and a night or two of urban boondocking.

Good morning - I have no plans for today but I feel better, so hope I'll get more unpacking and sorting done. I'm working on two bin-boxes of books right now. They are too heavy to carry so I'm taking an armful of books out at a time, to carry them into the mobile home.

I'm thinking about asking a local handyman to come here once a week for a couple hours of miscellaneous work. Plenty of yard work to do - and I know he does that for a friend of mine.

Everybody needs a ham sandwich, for sure. Going to a potluck today with my three bean salad. There is actually more than three beans in it.
I am not sure how we will eat with our masks on, though.

Her bread looks wonderful on its own merit, but I figured the addition of ham and monterey cheese would really get people's attention. I see it worked. (she's trying to teach me how to cook on the fly, good luck with that).

Define miscellaneous. I DIY everything myself, but am missing out on the eye candy here. LOL.

All this talk about bread makes me hungry. But I like my smoked ham with Swiss cheese and a thick slice of sweet onion. Sourdough is my favorite. I’m not savvy enough to copy and paste Like you guys but google up “girl the woods” sourdough rolls and fry bread. She also has one on sourdough pizza. I’ve tried sourdough many times scrumptious stuff; especially in cast-iron. She has one of the better YouTube channels about camping Etc.

Going to bed early tonight to make up for last night. Hope I can sleep, I probably won’t now that I’m thinking of sourdough rolls and ham and Swiss cheese and onion. God bless the nomads all of us.

I almost forgot to say the weather in PA has been perfect the last 72 hours and it’s going to be that way for a few more days.

If you highlight words or links you can either right click your mouse on that a little pop will appear and you can select to copy that text. When you want to paste that "text' you simple right click again and it will give you the option to paste. If for some reason you can not right click on highlighted items you can push and hold the "ctrl" button and press the "c' to copy and to paste it you push and hold the "ctrl" button and then press "v" to paste it. There may be other ways..but these are what I know.

You'll be a cut and paste pro in no time.

Just finished my inventory count on the kits I make and realized I need to stay here another 2 days to meet my goal for sufficient stock to carry me through October. Oh well at least I did have some sales this weekend weekend  to offset the cost of two more days of shore power.

Pretty sunset color tonight. A windstorm had been predicted for today but it never go up to the predicted speed in this location. Only slightly more breezy than previous days and that kept things comfortable in mid afternoon.  The labor day car races are all done, so peace and quiet for this evening
