Mark Munson put my new oven i n my new old camper. I have eggs, I have cookie dough fixins' I'm ready to try my first batch of cookies. If they turn out, I will bring warm cookies to the meeting tomorrow. Hopefully we will all say 'ummmm'.

"Notice to everyone. Ranger drove thru and kicked us out. Over 75 people without a permit. We have to be out by noon tomorrow. No joke #bummed"

The Summer Rubber Tramp Rendezvous  was closed by the Forest Service and evicted for having too large a group without a permit. On Sunday June 20th a Federal Law Enforcement Officer came into our camp at the in the Coconino NF near Flagstaff, AZ and evicted us for not getting a Permit to have over 75 people. He gave us till noon the next day to vacate or we would all be fined, so of course we did.

My sincerest apologies to everyone for the huge inconvenience this is to you. If you are still on your way , reconsider if you want to continue or re-route to somewhere else.

Great positive attitude Bob.  As for Ranger Rick, He has a job to do, and telling a large group of happy people they must leave has got to be hard.  This year especially he will be working hard.

Hey, you're pooh-poohing a perfectly good conspiracy theory!

Actually, modern law enforcement routinely monitors social media.  My background is juvenile corrections, and I can't tell you how many gang-bangers get busted by the NYPD after the idiots go on Facebook and brag about their illegal activities, or post pictures of themselves waving illegal guns around.

If the people at that particular forest have a real "thing" about homeless van dwellers living in their forest, the idea that someone there is keeping an eye on Bob's blog is NOT that far-fetched . . .

I suggest if you want the real answer to this question, you file a FOIA request locally and at the federal district level.  I imagine you may not want the answer to this question, however.  You'll only have to wait a few years for the (likely censored) reply to arrive.

At any rate, I'm sorry you guys got rained out early!  Hopefully the dispersed guerilla RTR will still be a smashing success!
