Blew a tire

I blew a tire on the way to see the grandkids yesterday.My fault.That tire was a known slow leaker that I had to add air to every couple of months and I think I let the air pressure get low.Lucky I was only 4 miles away st the time.I hobbled on in on the temporary. Found a new tire at Walmart for $38.(It's a small tire).Unfortunately,the son in law didn't have a couple of large screwdrivers and can of ether to change it.I don't know how this younger generation will ever survive.
