Day of frustration mostly. Started putting hinges on my cabinet doors and then realized I only have half as many as I need. I bought the hinges a couple of years ago. I am betting instead of counting individual doors, most of them are pairs, instead I just counted the number of openings and bought that many packages. If I was camped over by Flagstaff as I had planned to do this week, the hinge shortage would have been easily resolved in a quick, half hour, round drive round trip to Home Depot. But it is a couple of hours of round trip drive time from where I am so it will have to wait.
Then as I was already down on the floor I started cleaning the cabinet under the stove and noticed a the fuel line bracket on the stove had the big grommet holding the line fittings come loose out of the bracket. That is another couple of resolve as I have to remove the diesel stove/heater from the counter to get to that part. I will need to add some type of safety wire or some other solution to keep it from happening again. I just hope the fuel line is not leaking as that would be a special order part from the dealer in Seattle. Now I know what I will be doing tomorrow, the stove repair. I don't want to worry over it but I will until I get it fixed, so it just jumped to the top of the list. Cabinet hinges are not a worry, they are a fairlly common type of hinge, spring loaded overlay, silver color. I am very likely to find them in Flagstaff as there are a number of hardware stores in that town. I might even find them at the hardware store in Williams. I will check there on Monday or Tuesday.
