What am I likely to forget my 1st day on the road?

I hope to be on the road by mid October.  4x4 3/4 ton truck and 18ft tt. I have a pretty good list but know I will miss something.  What's the most likely things I have forgot??

I will do very little stealth camping. I'm that guy that goes further than most to get to the really remote places. Grew up in Michigan camping in the national forests.

I understand the point of having a flare, especially a road flare...

But a flare *gun*? What advantage for shooting your road flare into the sky? Certainly won't need to call down airstrikes in non-combat.

good quality multi-tool

Duct tape
2 Bandanas
basic 1st aid kit

half dozen heavy duty big garbage bags
Bucket with lid.. (holds kit)
and a small FuBar tucked under driver's seat.. multi purpose

this kit is based on things I usually Need but don't Have.. lol
