Yup, straight forward reportage, how refreshing.

I'm surprised there wasn't some babble about avoiding the FEMA camps.
(snicker)

Not all were vans. Saw one or two Class B RVs and the Tiger mini Class C.
Most folks were youngish. The author would be well advised to personally check out Quartzite and the RTR events.

VERY ironic it's in the Real Estate section 8-D

Why on Earth would somebody even bring a thing like that up in this thread?

Because sometimes Fox is just a small step away from the crazy and there's a fair bit of overlap between alt-sustainable lifestyle and survivalist prepper types.

nice article...I was familiar with a couple of the featured vehicles from their youtube and blogs, gonna check some others...

That was a nice article. Thanks for posting it. Though I am not a full timer...yet, after visiting this site daily for a few years and watching endless hours of YouTube videos about van dwelling, I feel I understand the lifestyle and it has become almost "normal" too me. I forget sometimes when I tell someone that I plan on living in a van they are like...WHAT!?!?!? The article does a good job of explaining the lifestyle without being prejudice or negative.
