A Kangaroo Kitchen is a vintage camp cookstove, baking unit, griddle, smoker and probably more... If you do a search for it you'll see photos and descriptions.
Cooking and eating is big around here, true! Every morning before sunrise Simply Lesa has her famous endless pot of cowboy coffee going and an open invitation to all early risers. Lesa sets up a tiny but efficient outdoor cooking area and does all her cooking over a fire. She always has a pot of soup or a loaf of delicious bread going in her Dutch oven.
Steve and Sandy at Lesa's home
Sandy heading to Canada. This is his home build #9. He has plans for a reverse teardrop next. Out of this came a roomy tent customized to fit snugly over the trailer entrance at the back.
Peter has a kitchen that can handle meal prep for dozens.
You're more than welcome Cyndi, I hope it brings a little RTR to you and others who couldn't make it.
I didn't ask to photo interiors unless they offered. Maybe I can go back and see if they are interested. I also might see if I can get blog links, as lots have them. No promises lol - I sure get sidetracked easily around here!
Oh no, more food!
Mark and Donna's potato bake. He has a great system for preheating his charcoal. Then he distributes it on a large metal sheet that has a windbreak and a stand, and can cook just about anything without that lighter fluid taste.
Here's a photo I took of Gloria and Rachael. Hope Gloria doesn't mind. Gloria and I had a nice visit and my dog Bucky became instantly enamoured of Rachael.
