Very interesting She. I will put a link from their blog here about dispersed camping, from 2008 but probably correct. http://ourodyssey.blogspot.com/2008/05/dispersed-camping-on-public-lands.html We may want a dispersed camping thread somewhere on the forum. Katie?
I spent a bit of time reading their blog. These folks are Red Cross volunteers and were from Silicone Valley, communications experts. I doubt they started out with little to nothing like many of us here. It looks like they are giving out much to society and they certainly deserve what they have.
Dragonfly

That is one nice ride! NOT stealth doesn't quite cover it. I wonder how much simplicity one loses by living in a rig like that.

LOL Yeah I know. You can't be too low with this rig. They only have 13 inches I believe of clearance underneath and to go in and out of say a driveway with this thing. GOT to be a pain. It weighs about 44000 pds!! Its pretty though. Too much for my taste but they do have good information on their blog.

yes, I should have thanked you for the blog link there is some great information, there.

I also recognize that simplicity may not be among everyone's priorities.
There are different styles and levels of simplicity though of course. It is still a mobile dwelling so they can travel without packing and unpacking each season, don't have a yard to take care of, etc. There is still quite a bit of simplicity there Along with, I am guessing, a whole lot of comfort!

Definitely not going deep backwoods with it though!

My Father lived in a MCI7 single level Motorcoach for about 20 yrs, travelled from Northern Ontario to Southern Texas every winter, and sometimes into Mexico. Before the Motorcoach, he was in a class c & b coaches.

He loved the lifestyle, it is a minimalists lifestyle as well, although much bigger than a van. He also just parked it, most people never question a Bus sitting, they do not really look at it that good actually. He just parked it in Malls, shopping areas, truck stops, back lots, beaches, camp grounds, casinos, anywhere really.

Big,

I think She was just sharing a cool website and its contents with us, not to be confused with our reality.

One problem with a large unit is its too easy to get comfortable in - a couch potato in a mobile home is still a couch potato.
