NOTHING! Yet... Just driving it to work and back and getting used to the feel! It's work... that place gets in the way of everything I desire ;-)

Spent the time and got the next section of the ceiling panels up.
IMG_0674.JPG

But, now I am stuck.   I cannot do the next section until the final wall and cabinet for electeonic is complete.
So..can't continue on the bath till the shower pan is in.
Can't begin the sofa/bed till that same electronics are in.

Stuck

Will spend the next couple mornings sanding the RV.  Smooth out and flatten all the fairing compound .. get it ready to paint

It's looking fantastic!! You know I can relate to the "stuck" feeling!!!!! It'll pass, right? LOL

Finally back to get real progress done.

The galley base cabinet is in and the backsplash is done.

IMG_0695.JPG

Of course..it quickly became the place to pile all the supplies and tools out of the way.   At least now I can stop constantly moving everything from one side to the other!

I'll finish the last of the insulation tomorrow and next week work on finishing the ceiling.
I still have to decide on exact location for a cabinet to hold all the AC and DC components

Moving along again.

Vinyl tiles.
The wall board is painted in liquid rubber...then the tiles applied.

If you ever do this...let me tell you about glue and rubber.

The self sticking glue on the back of those tile...does not hold
Gorilla glue is not only worthless...it bubbles up making a mess
Super 77 holds for about an hour..then they start to peel up
Epoxy...does nothing

What worked? Liquid nails new product...Fuze it.

So..I just painted fuze onto the wall and made a thin layer with my trowel.

I spent far too much time messing with that. But, once started..I felt I needed to continue and finish. I like the result....but so sure it was worth all the time I spent.

I still have the side wall (backsplash to do).

Your cabinets came out really nice...face frame looks very professional!

I laughed at it becoming a place to stack tools and crap...I go through the same dance every weekend and was happy to get some cabinets in for temp storage. If I don't spend a few hours a month organizing/re-organizing, I rapidly approach gridlock...

Well, hell... I'm sorry you had to go through all that trouble, for sure, but you've probably saved somebody hours and hours of time! The side wall will be easy now, won't it? ;-)

Brad...

Lol. Oh, I understand tool induced gridlock! I've done a lot of renovations...but this if the first in a space only 8 feet wide.

I still dig to find a tool...but..I have the vast majority of it in those cabinet frames now

Cleaned up the piles of tools (etc).   Decided to get a picture quick...it's odd how fast that cabinet fills up.

Finished the backsplash...getting ready for the countertop and sink

Laid most of the floor.   I plan to cover the wheelwell too...just too flaming hot to keep working this weekend!

Going to take this coming week and deal with my Moms estate.

Started to get some more work done today.    Family left last night, so up early to get a head start.

I found 2 beautiful file cabinets.   I really like the oak fronts.   So, I cut the bottom one to make it shorter and did a cut out for the batteries.   I plan to stack the other one on top...but, just shelves and eliminate the drawers up top.    So, this one is in and bolted down ....

I'll work on finishing the flooring tomorrow till it gets too hot

Nice! I think I have counter space envy.

Yeah, I thought about what I considered most important.   After enough space to sleep comfortably....counter space was next on that list of priorities.

(Storage space under is a great benefit too)

TFinished off the wet bath.   Still have C-Head to install...and shelves to finish...

The shower pan is one of those poured plastic bases.   Build a frame, and just pour.
