My mattress was 3 pieces of foam from joanns. Laid together it gave me a mattress area 30" wide by 72" long. It was 3" thick. I had the same problem with the cushions separating. I went to Walmart and got their 1 1/2 inch combo memory foam pad. The twin size is $24.99. Used spray adhesive to glue the memory foam pad to the 3 cushions and trim the extra off. Works perfectly without investing a ton of money. The extra 1 1/2 inch feels great, too.&nbsp;
