"but bark at the windows"

Ha! I've been barking at Windows for years...especially the 2007 version!

How are the gatherings going?
I am thinking of joining one in a few weeks.

CampDragonFly from northern Minnesota is finally on the road Nov.5th 2018 a month late, heading for Group 2, probably will connect in Bouse if I can't reach Eherenberg in time.

welcome Camp Dragon Fly, go to the "Newcomers corner" and give us an intro, we will give you an official welcome and a link to the tips, tricks, and rules. in the mean time do you need any parts for that Square Body Suburban? I have plenty of parts, in fact I have a whole one in great shape waiting to part out. highdesertranger

This Suburban lost a hub caps this spring (note the white wheel) and the exterior hand lever for rotating the back window down is working but missing half the handle.

As a point of information, and being a van person myself .... given that 75 people will be wandering around together for 2 months as a big tribe, and with many traveling in vans and cars, it would be interesting to know where are all of those poop bags are going to be deposited. Flying-J may not be very happy. Do the Caravans-Inc have any good solution for this?

There are transfer stations for your trash. Quartzsite's is north of town. Ehrenberg's is a bit beyond the laundromat. Parker's is out past the casino. Cottonwood's is on the other end of town from the highway. Often if you ask at the gas stations they will be thrilled to let you use the dumpsters instead of having you fill the cans at the pumps.

Ummm ... "May I deposit my poop bag in your dumpster?". And the 75 others standing behind me too.

I think "Hi, I just filled up and wonder if I can drop a bag in the dumpster" will do. Being a customer can have a good impact.

Hey everyone. We’ve been here since Oct 26th and are in the big class A to the south.
We’ve really enjoyed meeting the people here, everyone has been so nice and welcoming.
We’re getting ready to hit the road and the van build, and then get back to Tennessee by Thanksgiving. We plan on coming back for the RTR, and we’ll miss everyone until then.

Take Care,
Jay & Jen

Jay and Jen,  glad to have met you. Thanks for the popsicle recipe. Safe travels.  Alan and Julie.

Hey, so glad to be in Ehrenberg. At the Caravan!
I’m in a white cargo trailer that’s towed with a blue pickup, from Oregon.
Looking forward to getting to know you. Janna

Glad you made it Janna. Have fun!

I think it might be useful to have a facebook page where Caravaners can communicate and share info. Thoughts? I can set one up as a trial page.

Though i did at one time have one, i no longer have a facebook account and dont expect to open another facebook account in the future. I hope that thought is given to the fact that there are others who share my feelings about using facebook and that organizing CRVL activities outside this forum and the CRVL website can exclude some, and perhaps many, nomads.

I understand. We probably need to let Caravaners know this forum is available. Thanks for the reply.

I am so jealous! My plan was to be in at the van build and then hang out with the caravan until the RTR. Unfortunately, I fell down some stairs and got beat up pretty bad. Luckily, no broken bones !!! I'll head out from CO to AZ on 8 December and try to connect with some of you folks. Safe travels and enjoy!

NO facebook for me either.  Pirates is being nice about what that organization is.  Bloodsuckers might be a better term. JMHO
