We had about 25 people at the gathering tonight. Plus Brian “Aventurevanman” is here also.

25 people and one Brian? He’s not a people? [emoji16]

You know - you tubers are a separate genetic class of humans.

ah I see he's a you tuber. so he can't be bunched in with normal run of the mill "people". LOL you tube royalty. highdesertranger

How are the Rangers treating you all? I heard it's been cleaned up quite a bit, been a couple years since my last Ehrenburg.

Wagoner we were there off an on last year. There was plenty of trash but the worst place was over where the locals are practicing their shooting skills. There was a ton of crap over there. It’s also quite nasty behind the store.

Haven’t seen any rangers. Ehrenberg is not that bad. Cleaner than some sites in Quartzsite. Haven’t heard any shooting at all. Good place for a gathering. This the third season I have camped here. I find that a lot of the people here had never heard of the forum. With was also the case at last years RTR.

Day 2 of caravan. Estimate about 25 vehicles.

I line with one of the tenets of these caravans, " leave it better than we found it", I wonder if a cleanup morning should be considered? Not sure if BLM would help in any way, but I'd be willing to haul junk and trash to a central spot or dumpster in my pickup.

Any thoughts fellow Carsvaners? This was done last year after RTR and I am sure it would be appreciated by BLM and other nomads.

We are here. Beige class c with blue stripe .Jim is in a wheelchair so we don't both get out a lot and fyi we have 4 monsters in here lol (2 pugs, a puggle and a terror mix). Friendly once they meet you but bark at the windows

I would be up for making this a regular weekly event that everyone in the vandwelling community committed to. If there is one way to endear yourselves to park rangers, it is to pick up a lot of litter.

We should start a separate thread about this.

I'm not much of a fan. The unpaved road after the fork by the quarry keeps getting worse every year, especially the section going up the hill. The stones in the "desert pavement" tend to be larger here so the driving is rougher. And large vegetation is more sparse. But, you know, there's a gathering.

Not sure how many are reading these but I wonder how you all feel about generators. I'm really shy so going out at night to ask is WAY past my comfort zone. Jim needs the power for his bed but I worry about disturbing everyone

Running your generator should be fine. I saw your rv pull in today.

I suggest that if you have questions just wander around and meet other people. You will get more answers and knowledge that way. That is the whole purpose if a gathering.
