Conversion of Sundowner Horse trailer

What are the interior dimensions .....height and width? Are horse trailers constructed better than the average cargo trailer? Seems like they would be to handle the abuse of hauling multiple horses and their gear around.

Height inside is 7 ft
Width inside is  741/2 inches 
Horse trailers are built tough because it's live cargo - several thousand pounds of it- never owned a cargo trailer so I don't have an opinion on their build. From my experience of having hauled a bumper pull travel trailers on forests roads in Idaho, Wyoming after several years they are shot shaking apart. Horse trailer still going strong.

Perfect size for a custom build! Even with insulation and flooring you'll have good headroom. What size truck are you pulling it with?

Dodge Ram 2500 diesel , getting 19 mpg at 70 mph unloaded, pulling a 38 ft fifth wheel travel trailer got 14 mpg.
