What an *****! It flew better without him flying it. Looks like a 1940 as it had round yokes, 2 doors & the trim on prewars was a little wing under the tail. It came with no wing tanks just a 12gal header tank & the back windows were added. It has a 65 hp Cont engine & is just like the one I learned in except mine had the Lycoming engine. Waste of a nice plane IMHO. My '40 would fly @ 30mph. I hadn't heard of him or the crash. A Cub you'd have to fly from the back seat solo. Looks intentional to me.
