Guys guys guys. I need help. This is bugging me.

The whole time I was planning on getting a Safari Trek RV... First it was the 24-26' model with a rear bathroom. But then I need a rear bedroom because of working situation. Now I was looking at a 30 foot model which had the rear bedroom, and the dinette was in front of the couch (which I wanted).

BUT NOW, I find the RV I wanted is becoming increasingly hard to find. The 1995 or 1996 Safari Trek 3060 model is definitely a rare beast to locate on this planet... So I can began looking around more, and found this beauty:

It's got the right layout and at a right price. It's a bit longer than I wanted, but its real hard finding the perfect layout under $20,000 (which if I pay cash/debit, I'm sure I can work it under that.)

Anyone have any thoughts about Damon Daybreak? Are they good RV's?

Thanks!

EDIT: Also found this, which is also a Damon Daybreak, with a good layout:

I think you will either need to do a Google search or ask at the traditional RV forums, as people here are mostly into vans or very cheap RVs.

Wow, did not know Thor owned Damon. Thanks for the heads up Cyndi! I think my choice is now specifically between the 2001 Daybreak (found better pix) or a Trek 3030 if I can ever find one.

Will definitely look at their forums!

I hope you realize this will get under 5 mpg. other than that looks like a good rig. highdesertranger

People on the Thor forum have a general consensus that their large RV's get around 10mpg... Better than nothing I guess :p
