Considering that the way you live is really the only visible statement of your political mindset I would say that at some level we are all political. Vandwellers just like everyone else.<br /><br />If you are living on the dole....in any way...obviously you are dependent on the goodwill of your neighbors. You better hope those social programs stay in place and do your best to insure that. Vote smart.<br /><br />If you don't contribute to the economy in some way. you are saying you don't think that being productive is necessary.<br /><br />I thank my creator every morning that I live in a country that provides so many social benefits for me and you won't hear me complain about paying my taxes.<br /><br />Our public land is held as community property although the exploitive industries are always looking for inroads to take it and use it up.<br /><br />Our roads are some of the very best in the world...made that way by taxes paid by those of us who use them. We have clean water to drink, clean food to eat, protection from pandemics and major health scourges looked after by the CDC and WHO. We have infrastructures to haul away the mountains of trash we create, to prevent flooding, to give help in disasters, to provide and maintain power grids...law enforcement, military protection, libraries, it goes on and on and the only way those things stay in force is through my taxes...and the taxes of my friends and neighbors.<br /><br />Is the system perfect?...far from it.... but if you avail yourself of traveling the world some you can soon see that we have it better than a lot of places. Not as good as a number of countries but better than most.<br /><br />No matter what vandwellers say they believe politically, and it is easy to hear the confusion in what a lot of us say, when I camp with them, I see a group of folks being very light on the earth and respectful of nature and other folks. In fact I have never camped with as friendly, kind, respectful, sharing, helpful, etc., group of people....true, many are on the dole as am I, but they have amazing histories and most have contributed to the wellbeing of us all.<br /><br />In short...hahaha...yeah right....I am proud to know you all and no matter what you say you believe, I watch how you live and like it...<br /><br />Soldier on,<br />Bri<br /><br />P.S.
