Just counted out our last Mondays, we're at 24! We decided we should celebrate every Monday after that, we're thinking sleep last and do NOTHING all day!

I'm down to 4 left before we get laid off for the summer. I don't count the Mondays thru summer before I hit the road since I'll be traveling anyway, just not in an RV

Ha! My season just started. Worked one day and had the next two off so I can ease into working on my tan. Got to love government work.

47 :)
I spent the weekend pumping water out of my basement and looking forward to the day when I no longer own a %#& house!!!  Between the massive rain & wind flooding the river, and
I can't wait to leave the ranks of homeowners!  I can't believe so many people aspire of a life of servitude to a pile of bricks and lumber.  But I think I've found my van, so maybe some progress there.

46!
Bought the van and saw the first truckload of "treasures" leave the house.
Moving forward.  Life is good :)

Your house may be leaking, but my 5W is what's leaking. Got the external one fixed, now dealing with interior leaks...it's always something.
I'm down to two more Mondays, not counting today, before I am laid off from work. It's going to be a busy summer as we just got and accepted an offer on the house...they want to close July 17th!

45 :)
Now that I have the van, it's time to put theory into practice and boy is that intimidating!  There are so many opinions and ideas about everything out there it's hard to shift from research mode to actual construction mode.

On the other hand, it will be a relief to put each step behind me and stop analyzing every detail!  I think I've watched every YouTube video and read every blog on the subject of insulation and there is definitely no consensus on the best method.  So the plan is to just do it.  I'm not pursuing perfection; I'm after affordable, available and adequate ;)

This should be interesting.

I have one more to go. I am finally on single digit numbers of working days left.

Down to 44 Mondays
Pulling things apart in the van, prepping to install sound dampening material and waiting for the weather to cooperate.  Apparently wishing for a sunny day to sweat my azz off in the van brings cooler weather and rain.  Who knew?

18 Mondays here, trying to not wish my life away but this endless "pending" sensation gets annoying.

Last Monday for me. Friday is my last work day. I have less than 3 weeks until the first backpacking trip of the season (so ready for that) and just trying to chase down leaks and electrical issues in the RV. It's never ending. Need some warm, nice weather so I can get the RV roof re-coated.

43!
sold some treasures over the weekend, met some nice folks and spread vandwelling vibes :)  people are curious about a middle-aged woman driving around in a giant cargo van, so i get plenty of opportunities to talk about van camping and my future plans.
and thanks to some nice sunny weather, i got to actually begin installing the sound dampener.  i really thought my arms would be like limp noodles after rolling out a couple sheets, but not so bad.  once my hands stopped vibrating, it was all good  of course i was working on the walls and wheel wells - the ceiling will be a whole 'nother story i'm sure.

I'm on my first Monday of not working...I can't believe it finally got here.

Sounds like you had a good weekend and got some stuff done

You will know you have made it when you ave to look at your phone to see what day it is.

First Monday out of work and I still feel like it's the weekend. I'll get back into the swing of not working again as the summer goes by.

I have the marker of watching my honey go off to work each day, but I can no longer determine which day of the week it is... can't wait until she's done and I can completely lose all track of date and time.

I've only been done with work for a week and I'm losing track of days too. The only reason I have any idea of the date is because I have mechanical and various other appointments to have to pay attention to!

It's such a weird feeling, isn't it?  We spend our whole lives on a clock and calendar, it's unbelievably relaxing to not pay attention to those things.
