^^^My wife is turning 65 this year and looking at surgery. It would seem since Arizona has so many seniors it might be better health care in say Phoenix or Tucson. Any opinions on health insurance or care in Arizona as opposed to other states?

If by "insurance supplement" you mean supplement to Medicare ...
There is a nonprofit that offers pretty detailed advice on Medicare-related questions. I used it in Florida and I thought they were excellent. It seems to be available in multiple states -- maybe all states?? -- but it's run at the state level and I could not find a national-level website for them. Might be worth Googling SHINE + Medicare, or "Serving Health Insurance Needs of Elders," plus the name of your current state or the name of the state you want to go to.
Also if you dig deep enough into the Medicare website, and you have questions about coverage for specific surgeries or medical conditions or drugs, you could figure out yourself who covers what (if your head didn't implode first) ... by first seeing what Medicare covers and then using that shopping web page that allows you to compare supplemental plans available at different locations.
The SHINE people are trained to help you think through things -- to use the Medicare website you'd have to have pretty specific questions before it would be any use.
When I checked a few years ago the insurance rates in Nevada were quite decent in the national rankings for cost. United Health care is what I use for supplemental Medicare insurance, accepted nation wide. Cost vary depending on the plan you choose and your deductible. You can switch between their plans but it takes effect on the 1st of the month, no change takes place in the other weeks of the month. I have switched in the past to a plan that cost more but provided a lot more when I knew I had a whole bunch of appointments and surgeries coming up and then switched back to a more affordable plan after those events were completed.
Las Vegas is just fine for medical issues, lots of specialist, surgical centers and hospitals. I saw a number of hand specialist listed in Las Vegas so there should be no problem connecting with one.
Come down in October to Pahrump for the gathering of the HOWA events. Lots of dispersed camping and people you have met before will be there too. The weather will be good. About an hour or less drive to Vegas, not a difficult drive.

For my current situation I may be able to expedite things right here. I’m pretty tore up between that, the HOWA deal and going to northern Utah to see grandkids play ball. I want to get this behind me so I can be more productive and such. But for future, I think I may look into this whole deal deeper sooner then later.

Ben, love of tools is something we have in common. But I am glad to be close to the end of my build. I have other, much smaller, projects I want to get going on.
Sitting in my trailer this afternoon with a thunderstorm right on top of me. The flashes and thunder are pretty much concurrent with my trailer floor vibrating from the percussion waves. The ground is an inch or more deep in water. For sure it will bring the rats and mice up from their burrows. But radar says the cell will soon go past. For sure there might be some flash flooding across the gravel county road that leads into here. Glad I decided to stay put in camp until this weather cleared past here instead of going into town to ship out a couple of orders. But the roads will most likely clear of runoff in time to make it to town before the 5pm afternoon deadline at the post office.

I decided the exit from the dirt road to the campsite was a bit too slick with mud just before it connected to the graded and graveled road so I stayed in camp. It rained pretty much all afternoon until after dark. But I'd have some free magazine reading via online versions enjoyment courtesy of my Quartzsite library membership. There are what seems like thosands of magazines in hundreds of categories available. You can even use the Libby app to subscribe to various publications and get a notice when the new issue comes out. Not just magazines from the USA, they also have some of my favorites from Europe! I used to be able to find those in the bookstore magazine section in the 1990s before the economy tanked and bookstores became nearly extinct and many magazines died as well. But I am so glad to reconnect with them via the internet and it feels just like getting to visit with beloved friends again. This afternoon the friends I visited were magazines on woodworking, a subject which has been a great love of mine for many years.
Yet once again the daily weather report includes a yellow warning band on it for heavy rains with possible flooding. It is going to be a repeat of that for at least 5 more days! Heading to town before 10 this morning to ship out some orders before the afternoon thunderstorms form. They do dampen my spirit for finishing the build task but at the same time it has me wanting to break out my miniature sized wood carving tools and work on that skill set. They are sold as "block cutters" typically used to cut patterns into wood for block printing. But as I make 1:12 scale buildings and furniture their main function as the perfect down sized scale chisels and gouges. A good size for nomadic travels. Perhaps someday I will even make some woodblock prints if I ever get back into a more typical 2D art mode. But it has been decades since I did any line drawings or paintings. It was never my forte or passion.
Only a few more weeks and the monsoon season will be over. Of course that also coincides with colder nights arriving. But for the immediate moment it is partly cloudy and my battery is having some breakfast.
I will be using up some of that solar power by running my cutting machine for several hours as well as the typical charging up of the batteries on various tools and rechargeable lights, phone, tablet, etc.

Adventure - well, I don't really have adventures, I just live my life. Turns out I live in my van pretty much the way I lived in my apartment. Due to gas prices, I can't even travel much - I've been parked in the same spot for two weeks now, and expect to be here for around another 4 weeks. Yet - doing the same thing day in and day out is somehow much more fun in a van than in a filing cabinet for people!
^I'm in S&B until Nov. and have really been happy with the weather. The rains come every PM but they have lowered the temps to the mid-80's so I've been busy redoing several things in the van.
I'll be getting rid of the pass. seat as you have done and place the fridge and my DC-DC charger there. I'll really miss the seat though since it's really comfy and reclines. The camp chair will have to do and the extra space is needed.

I'm currently living in my class c while in my driveway, yes i am in practice mode. It was easy to do since i brought all the food out there, lol! No running water yet, since I'm waiting for a new water pump--hope to get in this week. In the meantime i have been filling water jugs for use. it has been good knowing how much water i go through in a day...but man has it been hot 92 in the camper around 7pm, but i have a couple fans and the ceiling fan works great now.
Great RPH... I’m similar. Living in my home on wheels vs the house I built so I can both get used to everything in here and get my stuff outta my house. As I’m turning it over to my son as more of a cabin for people to enjoy. Kira and I don’t need a house, just this box on wheels (and a spot in the garage for some extra stuff).
Also... drum roll.... today is the first day I’m basically retired. The things I worried about for the last sixteen years I’m all of the sudden able to let go of. My replacement spent his first day on the job out of town and camping. Haha. It’s supposed to rain the next five day’s, so I would have been all over mowing. But I’m letting go!! Stepping back. One month til I see surgeon about the hand issues. I can only dream of living in less pain.

Adventure? Yes please! I’ve been avoiding the forum while having to sit still for months and months to take care of personal business. That being done, and me having a regular old fashioned job and new debts, I’d planned to keep working in Laughlin until spring.
However! The universe has conspired to grant me the opportunity to scratch my hitch-itch and FINALLY leave Nevada
So I’m going all of 2 1/2 hours to Quartzsite this fall. I’ll have to work to pay of the aforementioned new debts and save for Spain, but that’s ok. Work has made me slimmer and stronger and maybe even a little younger. My new theme song and leitmotif is Good Life by OneRepublic.
