    My Progression over the years

Hello again everybody! I've been away from this forum for far too long, things are changing for me so I thought I would post what's been going on. I have been a tent camper for years but wayyy back in 06 I acquired a Grand Caravan and immediately converted into a camper for two. It was nice with...

Two people on $15 a day

Grapes @ .88/lb? Wow and I thought $2.99/lb was a good deal. We're always getting hosed north of the border! I've been doing some price comparing before my trip to Florida in Oct and I think even with the crappy exchange rate, life will be cheaper than staying in Ontario. Sent from my iPhone...

Canadian surgeons urge people to throw out bristle BBQ brushes

The issue with the bristles falling off has to do with the influx of cheap Chinese crap! You get what you pay for when you buy your grill brush from the dollar store. Buy good quality (still might be made in China these days) and you won't have this issue. I have always used the bristle brushes...

Apparently theres a few guys with these. I've seen a few parked at my local Walmart with a Champion genny on the front bumper. One van I saw the side open and he had a hammock setup in back with a bunch of boxes. Had some writing on the side of the van, something about rush/emergency shipping...

    Cadillac towing an Airstream

So if the internet tells me that the towing capability of a Ford Freestar is 3500lbs, and it also shows said Freestar towing a 34' trailer than my Caravan, rated at 3600lbs means I can get rid of my cargo trailer and buy a 34' AIRSTREAM?!?!?!? WHOOHOO the wife is gonna love that one!!! It...

    Cadillac towing an Airstream

When Chrysler first started making the Hemi and putting them into sedans, 300C & Magnum, there was a commercial on TV with one of them towing an airstream. Cant find that vid tho, so check out this one. CanAmRv took 3 cars, a Jaguar XJ VP, Chrysler 300C and a Ford Freestar. the 300 is at the...

What would you pay for a dozen eggs?

The local grocery chain sells their cheapest eggs for about $2.39CAD and upwards of $6 for what they claim to be 'organic free range' My neighbour has a local farm deliver 2 flats of eggs every 3 weeks or so, theres just the two of them, must really like eggs...

    Cool new table

Coleman used to make something similar, sold at Walmart & looked pretty nifty until Walmart wanted to purchase them for less and had their 'house brand' start making them, total chineese crap. Bass Pro has some as well as Sail (Canadian Outdoor Chain).  Now will someone make one for 5 people? I...

I just checked the almighty Google Maps and its fairly similar in time so I will keep that in mind. As for the construction that speed was talking about, I won't be anywhere near that mess!

The Mad Dash - Ontario to FL via I75

Ok, so planning on heading south to Florida in October. Only one issue, I have only 10 days off work so I will be making the mad dash down I75. To further complicate the trip, there will be passengers, LOTS of them, DW and 3 kids + 1 more! I plan to cross at Detroit around 9 or 10 pm (keeping my...

    2015 Dodge Challenger Conversoin

I once went on a road trip through northern Ontario in a lowered souped up 2000 Civic SiR, took a sleeping bag and pillow and off I went. After the first leg of the journey, pulled off into a wooded area, looked at the back seat for a couple minutes...pondered...and hoped into the passenger seat...
