Very nice.

Do you plan to use the stove and oven?

I ask because that much space in a cabinet would go at a premium in my rig.

I decided against having one of those units. Prefer the storage space for other things.
I decided against the microwave for the same reasons. Too jealous of the space.

Just a portable stove top, and 12v cookers. I also have a solar oven that I have a lot of experience using.

My rv has lots of storage space, so once I get the stove cleaned up it will be going back in.

Hi Shadow,

Do you have a Youtube channel or a way to view the pics of  the work you're doing? For some reason I'm just seeing an error  message on the graphics you included in your post. I'm really curious about the projects you're working on and how you're fixing the problems!

I do have a youtube channel, its shadow man, but I have nothing uploaded there yet. I use it mostly to reply to other videos.
I am kind of computer illiterate, but others here have no problems seeing the pictures I`m posting here.

Is there any setting that you can check or change that would allow you to see the pictures ?.
I reposted a lot of the pictures lost from photobucket starting on page 26 of this thread.

Maybe some of the moderators here can help you with this, otherwise I have no idea.

I will also see if I can make a video and upload it to youtube, that is something I have never done before, and I have no
idea how to even edit a video. I could always upload a video unedited, I don`t care if its perfect or not.

I was able to view them starting from the page you mentioned! I love the size of your RV. You're going to have an awesome home on the road.

I just ordered a new hot water heater, an Atwood G6A-8E to replace the hot water heater in my rv that has a split tank.
I did a lot of searching to find the best price, and I have come to find the reason the prices are so high for rv parts is because
of extremely greedy parts sellers and extreme price gouging.

I already had a price in mind as to what I expected to pay for a new hot water heater, and after a lot of searching I found a new hot water heater at that price. The price range I was looking for was three hundred to three hundred and fifty dollars.

I found it on ebay, three hundred thirty six dollars and free shipping, so I bought it.
Now during my search I was finding prices from four hundred dollars to over seven hundred dollars plus shipping for this same hot water heater. This is nothing more than pure greed and price gouging, and these places should be avoided when ever possible.

Its like going to ebay and buying a dozen LED light bulbs for ten dollars, and then going to an rv dealer and seeing the same bulbs for
ten dollars each or more. Price gouging and greed, nothing more.

Anyone here that needs something for there rv or trailer, take the time to search for what you need and save some money in the process,
its worth it.

I finished cleaning the stove today, and after going through everything in the cleaning process, the stove top burners have
seen lots of use, while the oven has been used very little. The oven actually looked brand new inside, and was dusty from not being used.

The oven door was really dirty, and the only way to get it clean was to take it a part and clean each part separately.
My oven door has a piece of glass on it with a black backing, and from age the black was very thin in places, so I repainted
the back of the door glass.

I got the stove cleaned and put back in the rv yesterday, so today I was in the rv going over what I need to get to finish the
water system, when I decided to fix a problem that has been bugging the hell out of me since I started working on the rv.

The door from the living room/kitchen area into the bathroom is eighteen inches wide, I have to turn side ways to go through it, and that`s fine. But once you are in the bathroom you have to go through another eighteen inch wide door to get into the rear bedroom.

Once you are in the rear bedroom there is maybe fifteen inches between the door and the bed, not enough room to hardly move
or even get dressed, so I decided to remove the door and cut the wall back about eight and a half inches on both sides to open
things up some.

I only got one side cut today, but its already a huge improvement, and it will only get better once I get the other side cut.

This is the door from the kitchen area into the bathroom, you can also see the door into the rear bedroom.

The left side has been cut and the trim is setting in place but not attached.

Looking at the carpet, you can see how far I moved the wall back.

I will get the other side cut next weekend

It is getting better all the time, and that is my goal.
Make it better than it was, or at the very least improve what`s there.

That's a great idea. I have a tiny door going into my bathroom as well. It's a sideways fit for me too.

I`m really looking forward to next weekend so I can get the other side cut.
And of course pictures when I`m done.
