I've had Visible+ since early Dec and have been using it full time for the last 5 weeks. It's so cheap it seems like it should be "too good to be true", but I've been very impressed so far. It just works. I was already paying $27/mo with tax for Verizon's crappiest prepaid plan, so...

The other place were I was camping had poor reception, but I was amazed I had any at all. As such the internet was between none and pretty good, depending. Here I barely have LOS to the towers maybe 10 miles away, and 2 bars most of the time, and the internet works great. No issues that I've noticed at all.

It's not like being on cable or fiber or some $100+ cell hotspot plans, as data is limited to 10mb/s, and the $20 plan is half that, so if you "require" streaming high rez video it may not be ideal. But I don't do that anyway, I download movies and such for later viewing. I got no complaints regarding how quick it loads pages.

Visible+ has 50GB/mo of priority data which I haven't exceeded, and the cheaper one has none, so that might make a difference.

In researching, the common issues seem to be poor CS (bot driven), and some older phones can't be used.

Am I missing something? Seems like a no brainer.

Oh, I should mention the price ends in 4 days! Maybe then it will get even cheaper...

Nice! I keep having to up my plan when I'm on the road, and this is cheaper than all but my lowest plan (T-Mobile prepaid).

Visible uses Verizon towers, which have much better coverage than Tmobile. ATT has good coverage and is maybe better than Verizon in remote areas.

this sounds like a great deal! how has the speed and reliability been for you in more remote areas? I travel a lot and need a good connection for work.

We had Visible for a few years & liked it until they made a change & we had to get a new phone & never got it working as you can't talk to anyone. We tried for a long time but finally gave up & went to Consumer Cellular which has the best customer service I've seen in years.

I dropped Verizon and their 3 line unlimited plan at $145 a month. 3 lines were a chromebook, a mifi mobile hotspot and my cell line.
I looked at Visible and tried to their unlimited prepaid at $45 a month. Been using it with my cells hotspot for 16 months now. Works great with laptop/chomebook and of course my cell.
Why I hesitated so long was the concern with zero person contact. I thought this would never work for me as I do everything on-line. Well, it works just fine. No issues.

I have the + plan which supposedly has 50GB/mo of priority data. So far it has worked very well if I can get a reliable signal, and should be the same as any regular Verizon plan.

Speed is capped at 10Gb/s (note the small b) which could interfere with 4k streaming I guess, but that would be a dumb thing to do anyway.
