Great pictures... I hope your issues are easily fixed with wires. Kinda stinks when resources get thin and our abilities to recoup them diminish. Sorta dealing with it now... I’m going to give up my job sooner then I figured cause my hands are just not behaving. I’m in such pain all the time. I might be better off if I could just not do anything. I haven’t figured out how to live life not doing anything!

Sounds like it could be a coil issue. Simple to take care of. Hope that will fix it for you. Nice photos. Have you ever thought of making money on the side by selling photos to photo banks? Many photogs do.

Your photos would certainly qualify.

Cheers!

Are you going to change the plugs as well? Does your van have coil packs? It’s cheaper to replace everything at once especially if you get the parts off Amazon. Way cheaper then the auto parts store. Good luck on the repairs.

Hello again fellow nomads, God bless you all. I’m still in Sarasota waiting for the repairs on my van, and not driving it much so I don’t make it worse. SS is supposed to come in on the third so the repairs Are scheduled for the fourth.

April fools day is coming quick. I really like a holiday named after me because I am a fool.

Here are some more pictures of recent days. Two of wood ducks at the nest box, two of a crested Cara Cara (falcon) and I think you all recognize The one with the white head. I never know what order they’re gonna come up when I put them in.

God bless every nomad everywhere, and keep the do-gooders out of our hair.View attachment 31184View attachment 31185View attachment 31186View attachment 31187View attachment 31188
So I don't have a picture and I know only if ya like NW bird info will this interest you but this morning I heard my first of the season goldfinch. I always feel like celebrating when those guys return to the area. It means spring will really be here....
Sure wish I had your skill at pictures.

Love all the FL wildlife pics! Hope you get a grip on that budget so you can pack a bit away each month for emergencies. Can you sell any of these great photos?

Have you seen a hand specialist? I was sent to one in Seattle for some nerve damage testing on my hands back in the late 90's. There are lots of excellent specialist in Seattle area. Plus it is not illegal there to sleep in a vehicle so it works if you need to urban boondock while seeking medical help.

It is changing for over night sleeping in vehicles in Seattle. To many people really abuse that and it is getting really scary out there. There very few low cost anything in Seattle right now. Son rents a big house and then rents rooms 1100.00 a month. He does a great job keeping the house nice and clean and safe. His landlord loves that he does so much of the repair work so doesn't mind the room rentals. Don't plan on anything low cost. My folks found a RV lot for 1000.00 a month, but not in Seattle. About 50 miles south.

my hands are just not behaving. I’m in such pain all the time.
Sometimes hand pain is due to chronic tension in the forearm muscles and wrists. A cheap thing to try is to massage the forearms by rolling them against a tennis ball on a table; 10 minutes each side every evening. Also stretch the wrists back to release the carpal tunnel area. I can send pics if you want. If it’s going to help, you should notice at least a little improvement after 3 days or so…

Hey NL. How are ya doing out there?

Here we go again. My health hit me again the last week and a half I’ve been bad but I’m coming out of it now. Of course the doctors all want me to go and sign up for a senior citizen home again so I can sit in it a ********* rocker for the rest of my life. I tried that once and it sure as heck was a terrible year. I’m not going back. I’d rather die in the woods or by a body of water somewhere. As far as eastern American nomad Netwerk, that went on the way back burner but I’m getting better now and as you can see I’m back on the Internet. If you believe in prayer I could use some.

I'll certainly include you in mine NL. How are you doing now? Feeling any better?

weather forecast was for 40mph gust at 2am. Definitely closer to 65mph gust happening right now. No sleeping through this one, guess I will put on a movie to help pass the time and help me ignore the strong rocking jolts hitting my little trailer. Oh well the worst will be over in a couple of hours. Strongest winds I have been in since I was in a major storm on the Oregon coast in November of 2019. But not as scary as the severe lighting storm while camping by the grand canyon this past October. Fortunately that passed by in less than an hour versus the 4 or 5 hours of strong winds this night will bring. It has been beating up on lots of people all across the country but at least it is not a freezing cold blizzard this far south.

Hey NL, RU Alive? Send us a SIGN Son!!!

Looks like a cold front is arriving early next week. I might as well malinger in Quartzsite and enjoy the string of 80 degree days and just right temp at nights until it is gone! I have plenty of build projects to work on and packing and unpacking materials and tools is a chore I am not fond of. I was going to do that today but am very happy I can put it off for another day! To finish the interior trim I need to visit a Lowes to buy more pieces of poplar wood. The closest Lowe's is to the north in Lake Havasu City but no point burning the gas to go thereand back so I will stop off on my way to the north eastern AZ mountains. A bit too early to go to high elevations just yet as freezing nights are a potential there in late April and early May.

Email him directly to find out how he is doing.

donbsr@gmail of course add dot com to the end. I am avoiding his getting spammed by not making a clickable link.

NatureLover update!!!!
Just got a reply to the email I sent him. He is still Van Living but with the benefit of staying at his family cabin in the mountains in Pennsylvania. He has no cell phone signal or internet connection at that location. That is why he is not posting in the forum so he asked me to update everyone.

If you do send him emails do not expect an immediate reply due to his limited ability to communicate. Of course I updated him on what some of our circle from this thread are doing. As well as my doings.
