I was lucky and a friend’s mother was unable to drive her minivan because of medical issues. I paid off her existing loan. But since then I have been offered 30k for it. It’s crazy about the costs of a used vehicle. I chose the minivan because I absolutely could not find a cargo van worth the asking price and the Promaster is like a sail in the wind I hated driving it. Pros of a minivan, I can sleep comfortably, have room for my stuff and park anywhere. The cons are no off roads at least most of them. I have had a few trial runs and will be leaving next week for a 6 week trip. At this point I don’t think I would get a bigger van. Unless one day the prices go back to normal.
