Pawnee National Grasslands, Colorado 2004

There's free dispersed camping here, Pawnee National Grasslands.  But, there are oil rigs and trucks hauling fraq water up some of these roads.  They tend to be more in the eastern sections out by New Raymer, but they move.  If you see a drill rig out where you're heading, might want to pick another spot.  But, considering how close this is to Ft. Collins and Greeley, this kind of open space is rare and a place where I've logged a lot of miles on the Hawg.  That's me on the Heritage out in front of another photographer friend of mine, "Biker" Larry Hartshorn.

Wilson Arch in Arches National Park, Arizona, 2010.

This is one of the places that I had to rush through so I could get home in time for work on Monday.  I was so rushed, half the shots I took were out of focus ... doh!  Gunna pass this way a'gin, yep!

That tiny house on the Pawnee Prairie could be on the Tallgrass Prairie in Oklahoma where I grew up and no-one would know the difference... beautiful photo's my friend. Looking forward to next year when Jeanne and I are on the road fulltime taking my own photo's to share. Drive safe
