Wondering if anyone is combining Van living with Workaway adventures.

If you have some kind of portable or pension income this would seem to be a good way to meet new people, have local guides to the area, plus you could find workaways to help others with your skills set. Combing Van living, a place to stay with facilities and likely a meal or two would seem to be a great combination to keep travel costs low and travel more.

Would enjoy hearing for those who have tried it as well as any thoughts on the pros and cons of doing it in North America, including Mexico.

I do SW archaeological steward stuff. Unpaid.

We ought to be able to set up natural area stewardship pretty much anywhere. And fundraise for same without political strings.

The point of Workaway is that it gives you a place to stay in return for free labor. So you’d be paying your way by living in your van and working for free. Workaway is great but not if it’s going to cost you.
