Is WoW entirely online? Which internet provider do you use?

Yes all online. I have 2 different wifi hotspots. One with AT&T and another through PCs for People. For quite awhile I was able to play WoW on my old craptop but they updated the game framework so I couldn't play anymore until someone bought me a gaming computer that I played at the RV park. Now that I'm back in the van and updated some parts of my solar I'll be able to use my PC again starting Saturday.

Coincidentally, I've been thinking about finding a fun game or two to play in my spare time. Cracked open my Sims 4 again and am looking at some other options. This thread has given me food for thought!

Do you have many expansions? I picked up Sims 3 maybe 10 years ago at a Goodwill. Never tried it, because I didn't see a key anywhere. A few years ago my granddaughter was browsing my CD's and found it. She showed me where the key was printed and the rest is history, lol. I ended up buying most expansions then moved on to Sims 4. Eventually, we both got bored with Sims, but I'll always enjoy playing it occasionally.

Btw, we both prefer Sims 3 to Sims 4.

I suppose my main hobby, which can be pretty isolating for me, which I want to change that, but still will want to play some of my fave games. I play mostly single-player types, and love the online crossword puzzles as well (brain fuel right ). Hidden Object I've been playing for years now and my faves are Labyrinths series by Domini Games. I fell in love with The Room series and have all 4, from Fireproof Developers.

Now I am trying to pick out a game that I might be able to play with others. Maybe some of you have heard of Skyrim "Grandma" I think they call her. She is 80 and started gaming with the Skyrim seriers.

Anyway, just curious if other gamers are playing that are amongst the Nomads? Maybe even some that can eventually help me to find more games I might be able to handle, Denise

I have just recently got into the fill in puzzles ( look very similar to crosswords) there's a # version too that looks very challenging....

Hi Carla! Glad you finally found that Sims key.

I don't have any expansion packs yet. I want to reacquaint myself with it all a bit more first. There sure is a lot of stuff you can add on these days!

I played quite a few games in sticks n' bricks. From World of Warcraft, Rift, Conan the Barbarian, and a couple different Star Wars games. I also tried to play the Sims games, but they crashed a lot and would have to be reinstalled. I was pretty addicted, especially during the World of Warcraft years. I still have a gaming laptop, but mostly play small games on my ipad.

Mexican Train dominoes is the one "board" game I kept! Good to know others enjoy playing it!

I played Runescape (poor man's WoW) for 9 or 10 years. And Wurm for 3 years. Wurm was developed by the guy who developed Minecraft (along with a friend). If you like building structures and terraforming you will love it.

The only board game I play often is backgammon.

For months I was getting messages when I tried to update drivers. Said I needed X amount of space to install drivers. Then the game froze twice so I decided to reset Windows. Also, I started putting photos on OneDrive almost a year ago. Big mistake.

I knew the C Drive was small so I directed Sims to use D Drive. Also moved Documents folder to D Drive. That worked great for a couple years, but OneDrive kept making copies of everything I added to D Drive. So C Drive got topped off.

Last night OneDrive started doing the same thing again. Also, I didn't know that a reset would leave my D Drive files intact. I spent a couple hours trying to remember the safest way to move Documents to D Drive. Only to find out my old Documents folder was already in D Drive. And OneDrive mirrored another Documents folder on C Drive=/

I can't take my PC on the road with me, so I'll probably reset again and just use C Drive. But how does a Windows OS end up with a small C drive and large D drive?

Carla, either your hard drive was partitioned or a second hard drive was added. Either way, you probably have enough space left on your C drive to take care of Windows updates, etc. Of course, it couldn't hurt to move files to D: drive to save more room. Files on one drive aren't saved locally on your PC, they are on a cloud server.

Anything you save to your desktop is saved on C: drive. I keep files on D: drive, but save "shortcuts" to my desktop for quick access.

The "My Documents" folder is also going to reside on C: drive, but you can move/save those files to D: drive in another folder. I recommend a different folder name like "save" or "my files" though. To move, select all files that you want to move, right click, CUT, then go to the new folder, right click, PASTE. That will remove them from C drive, but will only completely delete them from C drive as long as the move was successful. If you get a message that the file name is already there, SKIP, and the file will remain on C: Drive until you can compare and delete on your own or rename it if necessary. Then you can cut/paste again if needed.

You don't have to worry about what is saved on One Drive right now, but if you want to move those files to your D: Drive, the CUT/PASTE should work just the same and remove them from the cloud.

I'll try moving the files on OneDrive manually to D Drive. I keep getting messages from OneDrive saying I deleted 1700 files and they will be gone forever if I don't restore them in the next three days (now 48 hours).

I will DM you about it my PC at some point. My daughter arrived yesterday with her U-Haul. She's moving in and my kids are moving my stuff to a storage place today. It is a tad stressful

Hang in there! (Chances are the "delete" files are what's on your C drive, but I'd do a quick check before the 3 days is up.)
