I NEED THIS!

Buckminster Fuller. his design automobile. Dymaxion. Three wheels. One in back. Periscope for rear window.

Some of you know I'm a Studebaker nut.
Here's a video on an early vandwellers rig. Turn on your sound for narrative.

Enjoy, Bob

Thank you, Bob. I really miss the sound of those early transmissions. Another lost driving pleasure.

I found this while walking down a trail off the highway looking for a little privacy.

Deuce 1/2 w/ a home made cab-over camper! Looks like they built it on a drop-side w/ the sides removed. I can't blow up the pics, so hard to tell. I like that they made a wooden door for the cab :)
Definitely only for fair weather driving.

I want to know what's under the front end near the spare.

Okay... which one of you guys is this?

I'm currently parked next to this fine custom minivan in Derry, NH.

That is fantastic!  I'm curious how it even goes down the road??   :p

Low ridin' suspension with that 600lbs of plywood.

I thought for sure with the road cones and everything that guy was camped out for the summer. But, he packed up and left not too long after I parked. I was really surprised to see that thing move. The opposite side was painted black. Maybe he rotates which side is in the sun for when he needs heat vs cooling.

There's also a whole bunch of trash in the area he was parked. Really hope he didn't leave it. If so that's the kind of behavior that gives vandwellers a bad reputation.

Yeah. Pretty sure I heard his undercarriage scrape bottom when he pulled out of the lot.

Still kinda impressed that he's making it work though.

Hey, at least he has a fire extinguisher...
