It is hopefully going to be a very pleasant week. The weather is warming up and some low 70 degree highs are in the forecast. Friends are dropping by this weekend, a campfire with desert on the menu. I hope to spend a day later in the week on a drive down and back to Yuma including a walk into Mexico, a medical tourism trip. Nothing serious, my primary need is a new eyeglass prescription, and new lenses made.

Time for work, I have Etsy orders to get ready to ship out and a trip to the post office. Then chores to do to get ready for my visitors.

I just heard back from several Alert Readers in Australia.
Apparently, according to unsubstantiated rumors, the word is generally shunted aside in favor of:

you must have already gotten well into the fermented drinks before you posted! Otherwise you would have remembered you wait until New Years Eve for the party plan, Then use those Christmas, stocking, coals to fire up the grill and do the traditional group drunk sing alongs at midnight. The person who got the most coals gets free drinks all night
