Nature Lover, that’s good news. I know a number of people that have gone there numerous times on medical missions. It’s sad when people trying to do good have to go through that. I’ll be praying also. Thanks for sharing. Was hoping your good news was you heading south.
Turkey day I’ll be trying to help my daughter as she was picked to host her husbands family this year. She has not been feeling to hot for a while and that’s the last thing she needed to do. I’ll grab her sister and we’ll be helping. At my sons now in Washington. Being a grandpa is sure a fun job! Can be a bit overwhelming when you just drove 1000 + miles. But nothing like falling asleep to kids yacking your ear off. Haha. My one grandson follows me everywhere and never stops talking. Once his dad told him to be quiet and Tristan replied “but I have to” in his little passionate voice. His little one year old brother is going to be the same way. I’m so glad I have my hearing. But sometimes I still need an interpreter. Little kids can be hard to understand.
But... I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving out there.
Ravella, that’s great that you made the healthy changes. But man... I was really looking forward to trying some of that fancy baking I’ve heard so much about. Would enjoy some of those fancy French toast... would share some of the last of my maple syrup from last year. That’ll be my call to go back north come spring. Making syrup for the next year. Haha. Just talked to my younger son on his birthday yesterday. I’m combining my efforts with him as he doesn’t have the time to cook it and I’m unable to process enough wood for the fire needed. Seems like a good fit... kind of a sweet deal might I say.
