What to do with the garbage?

One trick I am trying to learn is not to bring trash into the camper.   Now when I buy packaged stuff I remove the packaging, crush it, bag it up, and walk it back up to the store's trashcan.  

When I do/did that, I was usually amazed at how much "less" I had after the packaging was removed; and less brought in equals a lot less to get rid of eventually.

I just dump at Walmart, or after too many cracker purchases I hit the local vac place then dump. The last place I dump is at a gas station.
