So you've got your mono panels mppt controller and batteries at a great price what next? And how do you repay the community with invaluable first hand experience?

In my situation I have reliable shore power, phone and internet, income,  food, and cooking facilities.

I have to manage my own water, refrigeration (small dorm fridge), and sanitation.

I recently made a comfort upgrade in the way of an ice maker to keep my drinks cool and give me more control over perishable items.

Next I'd like to build a portable power station recharged by solar if the shore power goes down or a cooking upgrade in the way of a 3qt stanley crock to use for thermos style cooking.

Water isnt a huge issue right now it just takes money to buy more or filter ice melt water.

What would you buy next? What is essential to you that I may not have ticked the boxes on?

Need advise on your next major purchase and want to list where you are now in the process? Use this thread. Or dont. I've put in my 2 cents.

mounting feet, dicore, a gland, nuts, bolts, screws, branch connectors, Switches, fuses, cables, lugs, shrink wrap, crimp tool, bus bars, inverter, 12 volt distribution box, cell booster.

You are building a large system. Considerations have to be taken when picking your components.
