Hi Guys
Well my plan on leaving S&B I'm happy to say is happening however last month I saw this 23ft Class C  around the corner where I live for days I would drive by and wish I could find something like that for me, last week I noticed a piece of white paper on the dashboard of the RV and the owner listed it for $3,750 I debated taking the plunge for a few days and finally called and went to see the RV its a 1988 23ft Elite class C with a Chevy Small Block 400 engine with 60,000 miles I offered $3,000 and we ended up at $3250. I will be picking up tomorrow I guess you could say it's my Christmas Present! I will keep the Chevy Suburban Camper I'm building the RV will give me a kind of Home Base and be easier to live in during New England Winters as I will be mostly in the Massachusetts area for a while my Dad will be in a nursing home and Mom needs assistance.  I will be updating as I go along and will be leaving S&B April 1st! I've been interested in this lifestyle for 4 plus years and its finally here!

Congratulations! I wish you many adventures (only of the GOOD kind) in your new Home Base On Wheels.

The Dire Wolfess

Make sure you don't have any roof/window leaks as you will probably need warm dry weather to repair them. Tarp it if you have to inorder to prevent more water damage over the long winter. Keeping it plugged in and using ceramic heaters will help dry it out as well.

Thanks, Guys I really feel Blessed. When I made the decision to stay local and travel a few weeks at a time in the back of my mind I was worried that my Full-Time Nomad life would be put on hold yet again so I decided to live locally in my Suburban setup I knew it would be hard during the winter and the Cold I just couldn't leave my Mom alone for Months at a time she is in her 80's and depends on me, I didn't want to start a new chapter in my life wit Guilt whether real or imagined. The new RV will give me a mobile home base with a few more comforts and being only 23ft won't be too hard to drive & park:)
PS the RV is covered and doesn't appear to have any water leaks except when it rained I guess the water was going down the vent for Fridge which I will be removing and use a 72 qt 12-volt fridge one, also adding a small WoodStove and the vent will come in handy to run the piping.
Thank Again!

Congrats!!! May it serve you well and long.

CONGRATS. So happy you found a good way to move forward with your dreams!
