Hello and greetings to all!
Old member but I haven't been on in a long while.
I used to be more active when I lived part time in my old Great White.
Sold it 5 years ago and moved to Asia to be my parents' caregiver.
I continue to wander about, not just driving but also visiting other Asian countries before this lockdown began.

So... hope everyone is doing well!
I've been thinking about everyone on here during the pandemic. HOW sweet is it that you're ready and in place for this situation, right?
How many feel like this lifestyle is almost like training for this kind of event?
Have there been any restrictions cities placed on y'all?

Curious to find out how everyone is doing during this time.

WOW! I've wondered about you, frequently. Nice to see your words!

Greetings !   :)

When I'm out and about this Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Ohio Valley area where I live I see numerous Nomads.  I've gotten pretty good at spotting the over the years.   Although I'm not full time (yet) when I get a chance to speak to these people (and tell them about the CRVL Forum)
most seem to be in good spirits.  I'm often told that his area (Appalachia) is about as good as being west of the Mississippi.

Of the people I've talked with,  the ones who seem to fare the best in this lifestyle have some kind of trade skill.  They may be welders, Fiber Optic tech's,
Landscapers, Seamstresses, Photographers,  Construction workers, and have set up a small business. (whether they do much with the business....at least they have business cards and some cover when presenting themselves as traveling trades people)

So good to hear from you! I, too. have wondered about you. How is everyone in your family coping with the pandemic?
We decided to hid out in one of the most isolated areas of the country to wait out the virus - rural Nevada. Most people don't realize that all of Nevada isn't hot desert so we're having no problem finding good boondocking spots in higher elevations. Most of our nomad friends are at their usually summer spots and are doing well too. We really do have it easier in this lifestyle. We have the freedom to relocate easily and can also roam around outside without being in crowds.

Welcome back - I bought property in the Klamath River Valley (Northern CA) and am waiting here for the epidemic shut-downs to be over... then will go back to Idaho for a while.
