I will try to get better pics today. Milo really seems to have the makings of a very good dog. Very submissive with Bella and others. Does not understand the leash concepts, one step at a time. It was so nice seeing him play with Button and even climbed in Trish’s lap.

Milo does look to be a very nice dog. Likely a good dog for the nomadic life.

Dog update? Story seems unfinished...

Seems the dog is "Special"...............Milo found his Barking voice............SHUT-UP already !

He got into my garbage and ate the plastic diaper from the raw Chicken.........Then pooped the plastic wrapped turds

He ate the harness he didn't like.......it was in the chair so he ate the arm of Sherry's chair also.........we haven't SEEN the harness reappear yet......we have gloves ready for "extraction"

He wears a collar BUT clip on a leash and he's paralyzed !

SHORT BUS Special .................MILO !

Arrrrrgggh

Oh no, not her double chair?... the suspense continues...

What did you expect? The cats have now taken over his training so that you will get him gone even sooner.

Oh dear.

Maybe there's a reason why you found him homeless?

Look for no-kill shelters in your area. Tell them you have found a homeless dog that has behavioral issues and ask them if they can help. Many of these shelters have volunteer "parents" that can and will work on his issues before they find him a forever home.

Sounds like it is time to train and discipline the dog. Not an easy thing to do but necessary unless you decide to let the dog train you! Seems nowadays a lot of people do that but each to their own ways I guess! Lol!!! One of the reasons I quit having my own pets was I got too old mentally to deal with training them, that’s a young person’s job, I’ll just visit and see how they are doing!

So do we have any way to pass the hat to help get Milo a thorough checkup? I'd chip in a little (very little, alas). Just to make sure he hasn't got some disease that makes him eat (even) more weird $h|t than the average dog?

Time to crate train Milo. He is not yet capable of being allowed to free range without causing destruction.

Milo Update (another one)!

So there is another camper in a bus with her son, they are looking to foster and a local shelter will help with the vet and neuter. They come over daily with their dog and Milo really likes them. We need to get him used to the leash but he freezes. He warmed up to Brian and this morning didn’t bark at him. He loves Bella and follows her everywhere she will let him. I think he can be a good dog for someone who has patience and can train him. But he is very sweet once He warms up to you, but it takes time. I need to leave next week but want to make sure he will not be alone.
Also, Milo is a stray, not our dog, just trying to help him!
