Hello from Oregon, at 67 years old I will be retiring in December of this year and to celebrate this event Mrs. highstump and I bought our first RV. We have a 33' travel trailer and went big with the Idea that if worst came worse, we could live in it. I got to this forum from You Tube vids on the subject and wanted to dig a little deeper.

It certainly does not require the situation be "worst comes to worst" in order to live a nomadic life. It can actually be the "best of times".
You will find a great many members in this forum that were thrilled to give up living in a sticks and bricks house and fully embrace life on the road as a deliberate life style choice.

Welcome Mr. and Mrs. highstump to the CRVL forums! To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.
