Hi
I have been thinking of "hitting the road" for some time now. I have lived in a 26 foot trailer for 14 months and I don't intend doing that again, am thinking more like a 32 foot Class A moterhome. Any suggestions which brand will keep me warmer during the winter?
At my age (82) I don't want to change tires, does AAA cover such a service or is there a better solution? I will certainly have many more questions in the future.
Thanks,Bob

Welcome to the CRVL forums! To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

Bob I think there are only a few four season motorhomes. I don’t believe mine is considered one but I do have R-16 in the ceiling, R - 11 in the walls, R-16 in the floor and R-4 in the basement. The windows are double pane. This brand doesn’t make a Class C however and it can still get cold but not nearly as cold as what a lot of people are dealing with.

It will be pretty expensive to find a 4 season Class C but I’m sure they must be out there. I’ll take a look on the web for you.

Might try Born Free or lazy Days. They are known for their good builds.

I know you want to stay away from anything that falls under Thor or Forest River for the last ten years.

Sorry Bob. For some reason I thought you were looking for a Class C.

Are you looking at new or used? I bought this one used - a 2009

Hello Bob,

Welcome, and I am new as well.  I just don't want to step out my door to concrete sidewalks and streets the rest of my life.  And as far as comfort, I would go for whatever has the best bed :D where I can lie down anytime for a nap, or snuggle with my little dog at night ;)  I know very little about full-timing, but the videos on Youtube are priceless for me.  Of course there are people here actually living the life that will help.

Best wishes, and dreams coming true for all of us wannabes, Denise
