I'm having a small gathering in NY southwest of Albany Oct 4-7. I have room for a couple more rigs if anyone is nearby and interested.

It's a BYOE event (bring your own everything). you are responsible for your own supplies accommodations food and trash/waste removal.

Join us for a few mellow nights around the campfire. There are a couple nice hikes in the area a well as local farms selling produce etc.

Shouldn't be that cold. Warm days cool nights. Tents ok. PM a cell if you want to come. How close are you?

Thanks...I'll keep that in mind. I'm in Central Florida and am not a full-timer...yet! So for now, gatherings are on vacation time but worth it for the socializing and info-gathering.

That sounds great I'm working on my Suburban Build should have the basics done by then problem is I'm caretaker for my Dad with Alzhiemers and not sure I can get a sitter by then and don;t want to commit and take a spot that someone else may want. Perhaps it would be ok if I check in with you closer to the meetup and see if you have space it would be just me and also my Dog Cali if thats ok?

close, western MA, 45 minutes from Albany, but as it turns out i will be in Pennsylvania that weekend for a work conference...will keep a watch for future meet ups, hope you have a grand time!

No, I haven't gone to any gatherings yet. I am hoping Florida will have winter gatherings for those of us that don't plan to go west of the Mississippi.
