Hi all you van loving Buckaroo guy's and gal's,  Thanks for checking thread.

Tip:  Use Google Earth to check out campground areas and your areas to explore.

Its the firsts of month, get the habit, check your vehicles vitals.

Area:  I didn't do Glacier Park on this trip, it was close by, and I recommend you check
it out, great park. And per experts the glaciers are going bye bye.  Sad.

June and July in Montana can be stressing as it gets seriously hot at times.

Great Falls great area with some good Museums dedicated to Lewis and Clark.  They
had a real issue with getting past falls.  The USFS museum is really good.

Be safe and enjoy our beautiful country!  Heading east toward SD!

HI ALL YOU VAN LOVING BUCKAROO'S THANKS FOR CHECKING THREAD!

Tip:  Well its the first of month and time to check all those tires and fluids to keep the ride smooth.  Might
be a good time to really check those windshield wipers for the winter weather.

Area of week.  Couple of weeks ago went to a old fighter pilots (Vietnam era) reunion in San Antonio.  Was
great to see all my old buddies.  Took off a couple days early and drove thru the Texas Hill country.  Limestone
hills and many streams.  Spent time checking some old Texas Ranger camp ares from the mid 1800's  Pictures
show Camp San Saba that was the Texas frontier,  and Rangers tried to keep the Hostile tribes at bay.

Be Safe and enjoy our beautiful country.  See Ya at RTR.

Enjoy following your thread and updates Campor99. Wish I knew you were in my hood (San Antonio). Hope you enjoyed the area. Weather has been a bit hot for this time of year, but as I'm typing this we had a decent cold front move through. The Texas Hill Country holds a lot of beautiful scenery.

General Motors 4.3 V-6. Probably one of the greatest engines produced in USA. I have one in a 98 Jimmy that
currently has 330000+ miles and still runs great. Only maintenance was a intake gasket.

I agree, first came the small block Chevy V8, then came the 4.3 which was built on the same winning formula, but with two less cylinders.
Do not confuse this great engine with the earlier 2.8 which was under powered by comparison.
