Checking in to see how Rob is doing today, hope you're not too sore from yesterday.

holeeee crap! glad you're OK Rob, hopefully no more shenanigans

I wasn't hurt, except my pride, but it took a pry bar to get my butt off of the seat. A small miracle with all the traffic and I was bracing for impact and everyone was stopped.

Pride heals much faster than broken bones. It could have happened to anybody.  Glad Jimindenver and pnolens were able to get you off the road and are there to help get everything situated for future towings.  What a group, can't wait to join the ranks!

ERLH, it is in fact a great group of people. Wish you were here having a cup of coffee with us.

Truer words, Rob. The way people are stepping up to help Debra, Jim and Pat heading right over to you, that's what life is really all about. I haven't seen such camaraderie since my firefighter days.

For me, it's just paying forward some of the incredible acts of generosity I've received. Heck, it was fun !  Once Jim said it was Gunny, I wanted to go.

I wish I were there too. You folks sound like the real deal good people. I raise my cup of coffee in salute to you. :)

:) Gunny I'm so glad to hear things are going better for you on this trip.  I was thinking, " oh no what if something like that happens on mine and Queenie's first run?"     Then I remembered......... Hey I already had my 1st run........getting the Aliner home......85 miles up  out of Fl in the dark with only flashers on the trailer.  Now I can worry about our1st long trip.  :s

Jim, Pat and I took my trailer to CJ's RV Repair here in Yuma. I got a new stabilizing hitch with anti-sway bars. Along with a brake controller. I offered one of the service guys( I thought) to install the stuff for one hundred dollars. He agreed and away we go. Except during my little spin I had screwed up the wiring by stretching it. This was a few
Minutes before closing time. He and another repairman plus the owner of the shop worked three hours past closing and ended up rewireing most of the lights, the brakes and hitching me up and testing my truck and trailer.
They never asked for more money, but I did pay double and would paid more but money is a bit tight now. CJ's repair in Yuma. I will post this with his card when I get home. Honest, fair prices and by god got the work done. I expect Jim and Pat may comment too. Exceptional! Rob

Good morning Rob, I'll bring over some coffee and the Posole will be done in a hour or so. I toned down the heat afyer it made all the girl scouts cry last time.

Rob ... sounds like things are going better for you .... stay safe
