True, if I had ten luggers it would be an option. There are very few six lug alcoas.

ah, I should have counted the lugs. you know what happens when you assume. highdesertranger

I have a small coolant leak on my cylinder head that turned up today, time to order a set of injector nozzle sleeves!

Parts are here!

No, it is leaking externally from the top of the head, the only thing there is the injector nozzle sleeve. It is a very common problem on these engines. The injectors are liquid cooled through the sleeves that are pressed into the head. If it was a head gasket I would have coolant in the oil or in a cylinder.

Not necessarily, but I agree with your assessment. Coolant on top of the head can only be a couple of things and head gasket, IMO, isn't one of them.

Spending my Friday night with my baby, getting it all stripped down to Change the leaking injector sleeves, install the new exhaust manifold and rebuild the turbo.

I agree, good job. That will help ensure the torque specs are much truer and will be easier to assemble.

Well I am calling a night, the manifold is back on, I cleaned the injector nozzles, and tore the turbo apart. Glad I did, cause the exhaust oil seal was leaking.

Yes! And I would love to see the details on the turbo work you did. :^D>>

Good old fashion oven cleaner, and a wire brush. I am waiting on parts for the turbo, got the injector sleeves out today with my home made tool.
