Install so far.. haven't gotten the wiring done.. still (sigh) need a few bits.. like the Parallel cables for the batteries..
SolarFar.jpg

right ANL is for incoming from the PV panels, left ANL is for the load going to the batteries then the blank space (above the shunt) is for the fuse panel.

well.. That didn't work.
tried getting a replacement ladder for the rear door .. Multiple sellers, and sources, confirmed that it would fit my year/model of van.
HAHAHAHA
nope
ladderNOPE.jpg

If it were just the top rubbing on the window hinge.. I could work with that..
but the thing is about 2.5-3" too long....

fortunately, I can return it for refund..
dang.. I wanted to bring my bike along..

Good morning from Miles!
Went on a test-camp. Learned things.
Miles ran well for the drive, all the gear worked great, slept well (though the car-yotes did keep trying to steal the covers..)
Now I have some ideas for what to prioritize for RTR...

And learned my odometer is inaccurate. Not sure if just the trip odo or the main also.. but about my 145 mile trip only registered as 98... At least this means I'm getting far better gas mileage than I thought.. lol

also went over a scale.. I'm about half a ton under weigh! yay
and I am almost done..

LOL- Just filled up.
yeah-- trip odo is bad/wrong.. regular odo is fine.
so I found the cheapest and easiest way to improve gas mileage
Use the other odometer.. lol

went from 6-8 to 10-13.5 woohoo!

Another Step taken-
I made myself a tiny little skylight.. lol
TinySkylight.jpg
But, alas, had to put a grommet and wires through it.
WireGrom.jpg
So decided to put a nice little weather-head wire gland on it.  Over Butyl tape then top it off with Eternabond.

had several rains... no signs of water leakage!  Yay

and been working on the solar.
got the home made remote box wired and hung.. (still need to shroud the wires tho.. so don't look.)

PVRemote.JPG

wiring is going slowly.. I don't know much/any about electrical.. so I am doing a lot of reading/staring and double and triple checking my own work.

Hiya back at that sweet little gremlin <3
JJ misses his girlfriend...

And it was great to meet you. :)

Did a short Urban-Camping jaunt
Was fun, had no issues.. Had a couple old friends over. They LOVED Miles. :)

Even camped in a ritzy neighborhood...about 1.5 blocks from the river..

My view out the back windows.
