Hey Guys,

right now i am looking for an inexpensive conversion van that i can modify over time, I am moving to back to Colorado and the winter is fast approaching and im running out of time.

but when i have it i will be looking at some of the post to get it liveable, thanks for the welcome

Welcome. You'll find tons of info here.

You are going to Colorado to find and outfit a van... do you plan to then stay all winter in CO? That is tough in a van if you do not go to a campground with shore power for heat, etc. -- though I'm sure it could be done by some.

Or, are you able to travel south to places like southern Arizona once your van is ready? It can be good to modify the van slowly over time as you learn what you really need and want and what is unnecessary.

Welcome tonir1, you are not the first to see a light at the end of the tunnel here. I can say that Colorado does get a might cold in the winter, be safe what ever you do.
