I am looking for help in finding a minivan, something like a dodge caravan or something similar for sale, under 2500  and something that actually runs and doesn't require any mechanical work done on it. I have been looking in many states but most I find are either needing a new engine or transmission or has no A/C or needs a ton of other stuff done to it.

Forgive my ignorance but in what market?

I see lots of sub $2500 in Phoenix and surrounding areas on CL (a quick search netted 275 listings with "6 cylinder", "van" and $2500 maximum" being the CL search parameters...), you are going to need to have some work done though, nothing that price range will be "wonderful".  Biggest issues with most minivans seem to be tranny (easily the cost you want to pay just to replace) as well as head gaskets/intake gaskets.  With that budget it just will take regular searching, time, and a friend with mechanical ability to help with diagnosis and repair.

If you are able to be a cash buyer and can travel up to 500 miles, that will open up your choices.

Cash option or payments and anywhere in the states. And I know a little about cars liek changing oil and spark plugs basic tune ups so yeah the tranny and stuff would have to be in good condition and I have no friends let alone a mechanic who is a friend.

I'd suggest reading my post on vans and minivans in the mechanical section to avoid vans with issues.
That said, if I was looking for a $2,500 budget minivan it would have to be a 2001-2003 Ford Windstar 3.9
Keep in mind, you should budget to spend AT LEAST $200 on maintenance for ANY used vehicle.
No shortage of Kia Sedonas and Ford Windstars here for that price tag.

I got my 2002 for $1,600 it needed a rear brake line. had 135k and everything works. they are a super easy to come by around here at the dealers auction. ask a small car lot to get you one or even better let you go with them and bid on one yourself.

mine might be for sale in a few months but Im nowhere near you

Sounds like your newest thread about the free van will suffice. "Don't look a gift van in the engine" so to speak. As long as it runs and can get you home...  Just get a title for it.

Yeah, I thought about that. I just hope it actually can run.
