Hi everyone! I am getting things together & starting small to outfit my Chrysler Town & country minivan for full time living. Is there anyone in the mid west that might be willing to help out with the electrical set up? I will have all the parts, just a bit confused about how to set up the continuous duty solenoid, second battery, the battery isolater, etc. I have read the articles on this website and watched a few videos, but I would feel a lot better if someone who knows what they're doing was around to help.  Thanks everybody!

Where in the Midwest are you? Perhaps someone is close. I had my solar installed and many other odds and ends completed by Gotsmart in Missouri. He did a great job at a great price.

Thanks for responding! I am not far from Kansas City and am willing to travel for good service or good help!

Well he is in Colombia. I'll tell him to check the thread or you can PM him. Its Gotsmart. If you aren't familiar with PMing let me know and I'll let him know to contact you.

Do you know where you want the components?   If not, we can design the system around the interior build.  Any little detail you do not have can be picked up locally here.  I do have a hydraulic crimper so we can use the right size wire.  PM me with your parts list and we can take it from there.

I am in Columbia.

I'm not the original poster, but I also live in the Midwest (SW Kansas).  Have been uncertain who to contact regarding solar for our RV.  I also have family in Columbia.
May I contact you in the future, when we are ready to add solar?

No problem.  I am getting ready to head west for the winter.  But I will be here for a couple more months.

Since I have family in MO, I will be back and forth.   :D

Just let me know when and what you want to do.
