I put a sink in my van when I first built it 2 years ago. I never really used it due to hassles with grey water so it became a place to collect dirt and grow mold. When I redid my layout the sink went away.
What did not go away was my RV water pump! I have a faucet that I can swing out the sliding door to wash my hands and a kitchen sprayer for when I need more pressure, such as for washing my hair or cleaning dishes. Having the pump means I can keep my 7 gallon water tank secured in the back of the van in an otherwise difficult to reach spot. One corner of it is easy to reach from my rear door so I stick a funnel in for filling. Much easier than managing a bunch of jugs.
The pump has a switch that I only turn on when I plan to use the water so if I do get a leak it will only spray the few ounces held by the accumulator.
