Has anyone had any issues with terminal connectors coming loose?

I need to find a really good brand of crimp-on-lugs that are readily available at either auto-parts or RV stores.

for quality, forget about the rv or auto parts sources. get marine grade, and a good brand at that like anchor, they are not the only brand but one good one i can trust. check to see if the components your are buying are up to ABYC standards and you should be pretty good. most cities close to the coast or inland water ways you can find good marine stores that stock these quality components.

insider hint for finding these stores. ask around or google search for "marine chandlery" along with boat or marine supplies

making sure the wire size is properly matched to the size of the crimp is imperative to a solid connection. dont just trust the marked size. trial fit it and make sure it is the right size. to small a wire in an oversized crimp is going to be hard to get a good connection.

then make sure to get a good crimp

YES! I had a hell of a time getting the cheap crimp-on-lugs to even stay on the wires in the first place. The metal that the crimp-on-lugs are made of these days are just too thin and soft. So, no matter how hard I squeezed my crimpers the wires would just slip right out. It took about five tries per connector to get things to work right.

I got this kit on amazon about $18 for lugs and $18 for hammer crimp. No problems from these.

D'oh!  I knew this. For some reason it never comes to mind when I need it. I'm in Austin now, near Lake Travis. I should be able to find a good marine store here. Of course, I installed my system a year ago. But it will be good to have proper quality parts on hand for repairs or future projects.
