I have to fly out of Seattle to tend to a family emergency, while hubby stays back in the RV.
Looking for a place in the greater Seattle area for our 32ft RV.
Most campgrounds are booked solid.
NF or BLM spots, which normally are our preference, are too far out for this purpose, he has to be somewhere closer to a town.
Anyone know any park that has availability?
Renting a backyard or side yard spot will do as well, RV is self contained.
Electric cord would be great though, in case solar panels don't yield enough.
Anyone know of anything we could rent for 3ish weeks, please let us know!! Thanks!
Also appreciate any other suggestions in the area that does not have a limit (need 3 weeks for sure)
Thank you!

Check with the local fraternal organizations (Moose, Elk, etc). Become a member, and many will allow RVs to camp in their lots for a few dollars a night.

Does he need to be near ‘a town’ or Seattle proper? Seattle area tough because of huge buildup, growth from Amazon, Microsoft etc. And this is prime season in the PNW. There is SUN !!

There are state parks south and east that might have space during the week, then Walmart it on weekend. There are casinos in WA, some allow RVs no utilities usually.

The idea of Elk, Moose is a great idea, even something like VFW, American Legion if qualified. Heck I’d ask even if not a vet. They might be happy for the income.

I’d even call some motels to see about few bucks a night to park in the lot. Church lot if you are a card carrying member of one.

Such a pretty area unless he is tied to staying in the area I’d head to ocean, Oregon/WA coast or over the mountains to eastern WA/OR

Hoping you find a park or driveway soonest.

Please report back on what steps, websites, Apps you used to find places.

Thank you both for the suggestions. Van Tramp always comes to the rescue with suggestions! Thanks!

We had checked on some of those, but that would mean moving every few days.

And I agree with you Firtree, out at the coast it would be much nicer for him. We did find an RV park in Newport and as soon as we had found it,
folks, we know through another online community, that has nothing to do with nomadic living came forward and offered us a spot on their land.

The have a big property a bit further out, which will be great for us and they'll get a bit of rent for the spot.
Win win!

Thanks again Firtree and Van Tramp for responding!
