Oh, for got to mention this, just today noticed the fog / driving lights behind the grill (I thought this thing had some really bright hi beams, it's incredible, compared to my stock Ranger)

In your pic (https://vanlivingforum.com/attachment.php?aid=11829) I only see the stock front turn signals/running lights behind the grill. The high beams are likely better than your Ranger's because the Ranger has a combined hi/lo beam housing and the van has separate hi/lo beams. Separate housings are almost always better because they can be independently adjusted and the combined housings often shut off the low beam when you use the high beam. Also the sealed beam lights tend to be better than plastic lights once a vehicle is 10-15 years old because you get a completely new housing every time the bulb goes bad. Reflectors and lenses both degrade over time.

Lost, you are correct, those are the turn signals, wishful thinking I guess
I have never seen high beams that bright though, except for the moto I put Silver Stars in, maybe that's it, silver star headlights

Art, that van is not only good looking, but "very" well appointed! A wine rack on the rear door? NICE! :)

hahaha I'm conflicted over that, I can see those cabinets being usefull, maybe, but how much weight do they contribute, and what would I use them for lol
I haven't figured out that table removal, maybe I'll leave it in lol

if the table doesnt just pull out like a rv table it probably has screws in the base

Thanks Gary, haven't really tried very hard lol, not sure I wouldn't break something
the base is not visible, so far as I can tell it's just a depression in the floor

:) That is a sharp looking van.  Sometimes those table tops and pipe legs unscrew from the base just like a big wooden topped screw.  Maybe just grab the damn thing and turn it counter clockwise? Don't hurt yoself.

There is a P.S. for you in my last entry on my  Safari ina Safari thread.

Have fun with your van.  They seem like monsters after driving a Ranger for 13ys.   I ran in the dark 20miles with no rear running lights the first time I drove my van........hey I thought ALL the lights were on when I started it up... I could see the headlights couldn't I

Little bit of an update, having trouble finding factory wheels in my area, and found 'LT' tires at WM for $65
apeice for 17s, these here are the tires https://www.walmart.com/ip/55189932 not AT and probably not 'real' LT tires, but I need this on the road, as my tags are out on the Ranger, so for now the 17s stay

Forget to mention, we had an '89 Chevy version of that, awesome van for us. We pulled the middle seats but kept the table... found a hole for it by the rear seat too. Longer we had it, the more cool things we found.

Thanks Queen, I'm still cogitating my build, probably the word 'lazy' will be involved lol

Same, we had all sorts of plans but money and will were lacking.  That tri-fold couch/bed was quite comfy with a mattress topper and sleeping bag... instead of the whole build we had planned.   :p

the table just pulls out, some of the newer ones kinda unscrew. those are not true LT tires. only load index 100. several manufactures make all terrain 17" LT tires. highdesertranger

I saw that, HDR, Firestone had a 17" AT for $165 per tire, or should I say Walmart had a Firestone AT tire for $165, just don't have the money right now and no way the dry rotted car tires on there now will pass inspection, I didn't really understand the Load index, as opposed to Load rating, but they gotta be better than the tires one there now, a Mastercraft touring that has a load index of 99

What's the minimum index to be a true LT tire?

Nice looking rig, Art. Factory steel wheels seem to be elusive. I did find one for a spare for my van along with a brand new tire. I'm envious of the tire carrier on your back door. I can buy one but if I install it I wouldn't be able to shut the passenger side door. Or keep the tail light on that side.
